Durden & Hunt Launches Community Sponsorship Initiative in Leigh-on-Sea

We're proud to announce a new community-driven initiative to celebrate our arrival in Leigh-on-Sea: a sponsorship opportunity for a local amateur or social sports team.

As a business proud to support the communities we serve, we're inviting local teams to take part in an initiative for the chance to win a brand new kit for the whole team, to support their sporting journey in 2026. Worth up to £1,000.

Entries open at 9am on 10th April and close at 9pm on 7th May 2026. Local teams should follow Durden & Hunt on Facebook, Instagram or Tiktok, like, share and comment on one of the competition posts with their team name and location, tagging their team or teammates and mentioning why they should be selected for sponsorship to take part. When sharing be sure to tag Durden & Hunt so we can qualify your entry.

Entries will be reviewed based on community impact, team spirit and creativity. Pictures are not essential, but if entrants wish to upload team pics to social and tag Durden & Hunt to support their entry, the team would love to see them.

The competition is open to teams training and competing in the areas that the Durden & Hunt Leigh-on-Sea branch covers, including Leigh-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Chalkwell, Thorpe Bay, Hadleigh, Rayleigh, Langdon Hills and the surrounding areas (see t’s and c’s for full details).

The competition is open to all ages and sports, whilst we will accept entries on behalf of teams below 18 years of age, entrants must be aged 18 and over.

Terms and Conditions:  

1)    Entrants will need to: Follow Durden & Hunt on Facebook, Instagram or Tiktok. Tag their team and/or teammates in one of the community sponsorship posts. Including team name and why they should be selected for sponsorship. Like and share the post tagging Durden & Hunt.

2)    Competition opens 9am on Friday 10th April and closes at 9pm Thursday 7th May 2026.

3)    The winner will be chosen and contacted by 9pm on Friday 8th May and will be required to accept their prize within one week.

4)    The prize: Durden & Hunt will provide the winning team a new sponsored kit, up to the value of £1,000 (including printing).

5)    The new kit will feature the Durden & Hunt logo on the front.

6)    Durden & Hunt will provide logo to winning team, the winning team will be required to order new kit within one month of accepting prize and provide Durden & Hunt the bill/ invoices from their preferred kit supplier and/or printer up to the value of £1,000 total.

7)    The prize is for a team kit, up to the value of £1,000, no cash alternative will be given.

8)    Open to teams training and competing in postcodes: SS0, SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6, SS7, SS8, SS9, SS11, SS12, SS13, SS14, SS15 and SS16.

9)    All team sports will be considered.

10) The competition will be judged by Leigh-on-Sea Branch Partner Andy Binnington, alongside the entire Durden & Hunt Leigh-on-Sea sales and lettings team.

11) In entering this competition your team agree to be photographed in new kit for use on Durden & Hunt social / marketing channels.

12) Entries will be reviewed based on community impact, team spirit and creativity.

13) Pictures are not essential, but if entrants wish to upload team pics to social and tag Durden & Hunt to support their entry, the Durden & Hunt team would love to see them.

14) Entrants must be aged 18+, however entrants can enter for teams under 18 years of age.
